"Your voice is your identity. It can tell people everything about who your are, how you feel about yourself, and what you believe in." -vocal coach
For today's assignment, this time I am only going to use my voice. The task is to dial a local number randomly on the telephone. When someone answers, I will have to try to get him or her to recommend a good movie.
The point of this exercise is to learn how to change the course of the interaction without making the other person feel uncomfortable.

Day 2: Field Report
The assignment entailed looking at anyones' eyes. It was kinda awkward especially for me who was not quite used to it. So I have made conversations with 5 new strangers, this time looking them through their eyes:
1) The security guard - he was manning the newly constructed hotel near my place, and I asked if there was available commercial units. He has black eye color.
2) The landlady - I asked her regarding commercial unit she has, and she was offering hers. Good thing, she will be needing something from my business too. She has gray eye color.
3) Down at the club, I have gotten to know one young, shy lady courtesy of another MTC member. She has black eye color. And her sister has black eye color too.
4) The bartender - I had to ask how much to reserve for the VIP table and he told me just as long as I reserved and ordered a bottle, they don't offer standard prices for each VIP table. He has black eye color.
5) From another club, was able to hang out with another nice booty shakin lady. She has brown eye color. Needed to get close enough to get a good view :)
6) Gym instructor - I needed to know what time they open so I can start getting fit. He has black eye color.
So moving on to the next assignment.

Day 2: Small Talk part 2
Now it is time to set the way to success. Nothing could be happier than to be successful. All those hard work and reaping the fruits of labor, will bring achievement and respect. As part of the exercise, it is all about putting the goals into proper perspective. 3 things that can make me happier are to make my business grow, to have a leaner body and lastly to have my own pad. Those are the things too that will make me more confident about myself. I will become a successful businesman who will earn more within 6 months. I want to shed off 20 pounds of fats. I want to have my own house or condo within the next 2 years. It is going to take more than guts but I will have to push myself harder to excel.
So on with my new assignment for the day: To go out and make a small talk with five more strangers, but this time make eye contact with each person and record his or her eye color.
This looks a pretty interesting task. I usually had problem making eye contact. But I'm more than willing to take it on. Standby for the FR.

Day 1: Field Report
Another day had passed, so it's time for the conclusion or field report of what transpired yesterday. Yesterday's assignment was to strike up a conversation with 5 strangers regardless of age, sex and profession. On daytime yesterday, I was able to make 2. First was when I bought a pack of cigarette, I asked the fellow behind the cashier what time they close and he responded that they close at 2AM. Second one was when walking back to the office, it was raining, saw a man trying not to get wet and told him, the weather was unpredictable nowadays and he affirmed.

Day 1: Small Talk
Talk about social Interaction. In order to revitalize my dwindling social life, I take a good look of myself. People perceive me as a happy go lucky, friendly person. At least, that's what their first impression of me. However, I will like to be perceived as someone who is serious about life too.
